The fact that Scott had left Ava on guard duty was strange to her. She hadn’t expected a call from him at all. Typically, she was the one calling, because she needed more healing particles to stabilize her molecules. But not this time. This time, Scott needed help. And what did he need help with? Watching and protecting Cassie while he was off being Ant-Man. Seemed simple enough, right? Good thing she’d never told him about her I’ll-conceived plan to kidnap Cassie.

Except Ava didn’t know the first thing about watching kids. The only thing she had were her own memories of being a kid and that childhood was cut short, died the day she got her powers. Which funnily enough was the reason she was here. At best, she could remember what it was like to be a child and then go from there.
