He’d felt eyes on him for some time. Or perhaps it was just his senses adjusting to the magic in the air that wasn’t coming from him. No matter, he continued about his business for the moment, surveying the pieces in the exhibit’s opening, trying to remain fully aware of his surroundings all the while. It had finally gotten to the point where the feeling was nagging at him. Turning towards what had to be the source, he eyed the bearded man.  ❝ If you keep staring, friend, I may do a trick. ❞

It wasn’t uncommon for other magical folk to come to the sanctum, whether it be because they wanted an audience with Stephen himself or to browse through the almost endless library of texts pertaining to the supernatural world or something else entirely. Usually the people who would drop by were familiar faces but this man was new to Stephen, and as such, it was only natural that Stephen would want to quietly observe for a bit before trying to make his presence known. The other’s sense were sharp though and it didn’t take him long to figure out Stephen had been watching. “Please don’t. Unless you’re okay with breaking countless priceless artifacts and covering the cost of those damages.” Stephen looked around the room at the artifacts displayed in the various glass cases and pedestals as he stepped forward, arms crossed though a more casual expression sat on his face. “Looking for something specific?” 

“aren’t you supposed to have some fancy helmet thingy?”

Stephen gave a bit of a confused frown at the question. “No, I can’t say that I am. Maybe you’re confusing me with someone else?”
