Yeah, the alterhuman community is pretty chill if you look past the constant infighting, the elitism and the hierarchical attitudes towards what identities are and aren't valid, term discourse, the strange hatred towards otherlinkers, funlinkers, general voluntary alterhumanity and physical alterhumans and shifters (and minors for some reason), the constant gatekeeping and identity policing, the pack/herd mentality which results in dogpiling and harassment of people who may be a little misinformed about the intricacies of different terms that describe the same fucking thing, people throwing around hefty accusations of ableism with little to no basis, exclusionism, entitled people thinking that they're owed artists' hard work for free, the "oh well we know we aren't REALLY animals", the horrid way people treat delusional folks and people with personality disorders, the pervasive fatphobia, racism and ableism–

This is so inexplicably real. As a plus sized therian, I experience SHITLOADS of hate in the community, it's honestly terrifying. I'm scared.
