Most of the fans I've interacted with so far are pretty normal, and I like some of the fanart I've seen. And sure, I've seen a couple weird posts, but it's mostly harmless shitposts and memes. As for the fans that aren't normal... I've been avoiding them like the plague ever since Sky warned me about them.

If they're already gonna let me and Birdie into the ring despite neither of us being adults, then I'm not surprised they let someone old enough to be my grandpa into the ring. Besides, it's not even the first time they let someone past the age of 40 into the ring, since they also let Von Kaiser and Gabby Jay fight.
As for his staff, if you introduced me to Hoy before I had a rematch against Aran, I would've been shocked. Now though, I feel like I would be more concerned if I saw him without it. The fact I would care more if he didn't carry a staff should be a sign that the WVBA is screwed, but I'm already too deep by this point.
I'm also unsure if he could even fight without it since I don't think I've ever seen him throw an actual punch.
