So she actually said that she does not see the appeal in Senshi at all and that the panty shots weren't intended to be horny - she just has a neighbor who looks kind of like him and does laundry in his underwear. Which she finds kind of weird and offputting, and put into his character to be funny.
But that's the thing. She doesn't exaggerate or grotesqueify or alter people's bodies to fit some standard. (Except insofar as she draws different species differently, and those are exquisitely practiced to ensure they have the same diversity of appearances that humans do.) She just presents people exactly as they are, complexities and oddities and all.
It just so happens that when you present people exactly as they are, what you present will be beautiful and alluring to many. Even the things you yourself might find weird and offputting. Honestly I think it's a touching example of how you don't have to see the beauty in everyone for the beauty to be there, simple honesty is enough to let the wonder of people's humanity shine through.

celestia is such a funny character like she's constantly manipulating twilight and friends to do shit instead of just asking and you could arguably frame that as being bc she's a "god" and pushing fate to her design or whatever, except that she engages with the group like a normal and relatable person, which makes it more like villainous machinations, except 90% of this manipulation goes towards things like "I don't want my party to be boring shit again. put my little country girl blorbos in there with zero prep so they fuck it up bad"
Celestia instantly makes more sense as a character when you ignore the princess stuff and remember that she's a 1000+ years old wizard. Of course she does manipulative trickster stuff to teach moral lessons and/or cause chaos to amuse herself, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course sometimes she's actually socially awkward and bad at personal relationships and has bad ideas that she thought were good that result in her eating shit embarrassing style, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course she lets the aristocrats and nobles run around being assholes she's still running on wizard advisor programming, she's basically trying to merlin the entire upper class of equestria instead of just a king and some knights. "Yeah uuhhh we'll release the incarnation of chaos himself from his ancient prison because we think this shy girl can be friends with him", terrible plan if you're thinking like a ruler, amazing plan if you're thinking like a wizard. I got an update from my surgeon today. I have tried everything- my insurance denied me so i asked if i could have a long-term payment plan. they will not let me set up a payment plan like that because my surgery is “cosmetic”. i don’t know what else to do at this point.
It feels really upsetting to me that i feel like i’ve been forced into a situation where my only option is to cry and beg everyone. My transition should not be traumatizing. My transition shouldn’t be an uphill battle. I should not end every appointment, checkup, and visit feeling less certain about my future.
Enough venting. or well, i guess that all is just context.

1. The court holds Google responsible for statements made by its AI, considering them Google's statements (search engines have limited liability for results in their engine as they're the words of other sites/companies/people), meaning when their AI lies/hallucinates they're liable for the defamation/harm resulting from those statements.
2. Google's defense that customers are generally aware of the lack of reliability and are responsible for fact checking was dismissed. As the court pointed out, that would "significantly diminish" AI Search's stated purpose and it can't be distinguished from Google's business practices/statements as a search tool.
3. Studies have found about 91% of Google's everyday AI responses are accurate, leaving millions of searches per HOUR with potential liability for falsehoods. 56% of correct responses weren't supported by the sources the AI listed. Both of which mean Google is now liable for a LOT more AI "errors."
4. Google was held liable for 80% of court costs in this case and this precedent is expected to reverberate around the world. This is a massive shift from the 3rd-party search provider role Google has previously played and it comes right as they've tied ALL searches to their AI search.
I’d die on the hill that “stranger danger” is a deeply unhelpful mentality to have. “Ooooh everyone is out to get me they’re all gonna perpetrate harm that’s actually more likely to come from someone I already know. I better never talk to anyone in my community who I don’t already know, just to be safe. I’m sure there are no other biases interwoven with this mentality” like oh my god human traffickers do not just randomly spawn in every parking lot. You don’t have to go solo hitchhiking across the country but you also don’t have to live in fear that every guy on the street is the knife man who’s gonna get you. Like have situational awareness, yeah. But most of the time the guy on the street is not knife man he’s actually just a guy on the street and he’s probably pretty chill, and you’re driving yourself crazy by living in a constant state of unnecessary fear.
Like always safety comes first, especially if you’re in a marginalized group more likely to be targeted by random people around you. But that’s different from stranger danger. I might even say that stranger danger is something that contributes to marginalized groups getting targeted by random people. Which strangers do you find distrust worthy? Why? Does vague distrust justify harmful actions in the name of self defense? Stranger danger draws everyone away from more important issues of safety (underlying bigotries, systemic injustices, abuse in the home, etc) and towards an amorphous boogeyman that has no solution, because it’s not the real cause or culprit.

The first steps in life are not easy, not for humans and not for rooks. This rook probably just left the nest that day and walking on uneven ground the first time is not easy. They also cannot really fly at this stage, they manage a few flaps, but gaining height and landing is really difficult, so they rather walk.
Good time to remind people that birds like this are not injured. Lots of new fledglings get reported as injured birds. Unfortunately the fledgling stage is dangerous as they are susceptible to predators, but it’s what they have to go through to eventually fly. Luckily it really only takes a few days. And mom and dad are usually around helping out with feeding and alerting to danger. The only baby birds that need assistance will not have any feathers on them, they are hatchlings and you call your local wildlife rehab for help.

And I would like to add: If you see a fledgling at a dangerous place, like on the street or on any pathway where lots of people walk or cycle, just take the little bird carefully in your hands and place it in a nearby bush. And no, the parents will not abandon the fledgling because of the human smell. That is a myth that originates from the rescue of some species of mammals like deer, where that is the case. With birds it is not a problem. And yes, the parents will find the fledgling in the bushes, because just like the little rook in my video, it is normal for all songbird fledglings to move around and call for their parents. The parents will also call out and that way they will find each other. But it is important that you move away, so that the parents will come closer. Like when I do these videos I always stay quite a long distance from the fledglings (hence the shaking because I use a really long focal length) and I never stay long, especially when the fledgling starts to call.
