 AUSTRALIA: Centrelink is continuing it's persecution of the poorest in the community sending out medical review requirements to Disability Support Pensioners today with people given less than 3 weeks to respond. As has been the case with other recent 'robo-reviews' customers are provided with a phone contact number that does not connect preventing access to Centrelink for an explanation of the requirements and process.

SYRIA: The Syrian Civil Defense have expelled several members after they're actions were filmed showing they "did not fully uphold the strict principles of neutrality and impartiality." US: FBI Director James Comey has had his 10 year tenure cut short by President Trump because "It is essential that we find new leadership for the FBI that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission." Trump asserts that according to his attorney general Jeff Sessions the FBI needs renewal to alleviate controversy created after the badly timed release of information pertaining to the release of an investigation into emails connected to a Hillary Clinton staffer.The sacking of Comey comes as the investigation into the Trump regimes connection to Russia continues and the White House struggles to push it's legislative agenda.  AUSTRALIA: As part of Budget 2017 the government has announced a more stringent program to reduce the chances for people to make poor choices while on Centrelink welfare. Job-seekers will be subject to a demerit system that records their 'belligerence' toward attending Centrelink referred appointments where they will receive 'strikes' after repeated issues until they reach three strikes.The government will also begin a random drug testing program on 5 000 new welfare recipients with plans to extend the testing to others who fail to correctly report to interviews as directed. US: President Trump has held a rally celebrating his first 100 days in office with supporters in Pennsylvania instead of attending the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington using the event as an opportunity to again publicly defame the media at large. He was the first president to avoid the press corp dinner since Ronald Reagan wasn't able to attend while recovering from an assassination attempt.The event featured speeches from prominent journalists discussing the theme of the First Amendment and free speech in direct competition to the attacks voiced at Trump's rally-event.
