Signups are open! Here is a guide on how to sign up for the 2026 IllaRook Gift Exchange.

You MUST have an AO3 account to participate. If you need one, please reach out to a mod or the main exchange page. There are ways to get invitations to those who need them.

To start your Signup, go to the Collection Page during the signup period and click on "Sign-up Form" or use the link provided above.

Requests

This section is for what you'd like to receive.

Choose the fandom (only one available- Dragon Age: The Veilguard).

Choose IllaRook as your relationship. If you have a multi/poly ship, you can provide that information in the description but there are rules surrounding those pairings. You can find more info about it here.

Additional Tags: Choose whether you'd like fanfic, fanart, or both. You must choose at least one.

Rating: Please let your gifter know if you'd like a specific type of rating. If you don't mind or prefer something explicit, please check 'explicit'. If you don't want anything nsfw, do not check 'explicit' and you will not receive or match with anyone who checked it (to the best of our ability).

Links: This is where you will put links to your tumbr, bsky, refs for custom Rooks, letters with dnws, etc. Try to only put a single link here and make sure, if you use something like Google Docs, that it is shareable.

Prompts/DNWs: You can use the description box to add anything that you might find helpful for your creator, such as more links to things like custom characters, descriptions, prompts, ideas, etc. If there is a way you write a specific relationship, please leave it in the description. Please add any DNWs (Do Not Wants) such as sexual preferences/squicks, no violence, no gore, etc.

Please be specific about your DNWs so we can match you better as well as make sure they are followed. If you don't list something or are not specific about what you do not want, you are leaving it open to your gifter to write/draw it.

Also, please don't forget to put info about your Rook in the description box! It'll be helpful to have, especially for artists! There will only be one request option so please, put every bit of information you can in.

This section is for what you'd like to make/give.

Rating: If you want to offer an explicit rating, click on the explicit box. That does not mean you have to write something explicit, but if you don't mind being given a prompt with explicit content, you can check it off.

DNWs: Please add anything you aren't willing to write/draw (such as specific AUs, relationship dynamics, etc). Anything that you think is important or that bothers you, PLEASE add it to the description so that we can make sure you are paired with someone you won't be upset with. (For example, if you don't like writing about blood magic, please add that so we can make sure to limit who you might get as your assignment).

If there is something you prefer to write or draw for, you can add that in, as well.

This is also the place to designate what ships you feel comfortable creating for (m/f, m/m, or other for any other types of relationships like nonbinary, trans!Illario, or anything else).

If you'd like to be considered as a pinch hitter (to fill a request if someone drops out), please leave a note in the description box and we will add you to our pinch hitter list.

After you submit your signup, you can edit it until closing day, June 28th. After the 28th, you will be unable to edit it as matching will begin.

So I spawned them instead of Hezenkoss. I expected to see a skeleton, but not a brain in a jar. Every brain in the jar gives me Dead Head Fred vibes.

No HP just like the Executor, but they have ranged attacks like the darkspawn.

Then I checked the artbook and saw a familiar jar of brains. Only as a weapon they have a huge syringe lol, which could be looted by killing them, as well as the Professor skin. Or the player could let them go in exchange for a favor later.

There is almost no info about them, except for their love of puns. While the Executor has a few cut conversations, the Professor only has test silly lines in the script.

Without a doubt, many of you who read about this holiday initially think "What a dirty bird. Why do we have Pigeon Appreciation Day?" After you finish reading this article, you will likely become a fan of pigeons and celebrate this June 13 holiday. For example, we will describe to you how a single pigeon is credited with saving the lives of 194 American servicemen during World War I. That alone is a reason to celebrate pigeons in my book.

Pigeons get a bad rap, largely because there are so many of them on city streets scrounging for a free meal. But they are not dirty birds and do not spread disease as some believe. Pigeons are entertaining to watch. Just sit on a park bench and watch them in action. And while you are watching, feed them. Chances are they will remember you the next time you sit on a park bench. They remember the hand that feeds them.

Perhaps the best example of how people love pigeons is in the movie Mary Poppins (1964). In the movie, she is the nanny for two children who go on to feed the birds as Mary Poppins sings "Feed the Birds, Tuppence a Bag". Do you know what those birds were? You guessed it, pigeons.
