A little Percy update: As of late he’s been very finicky. His doctor said it is okay for cats to be on an all dry food diet while cats are young, but older cats on dry food may be more prone to kidney disease. She suggested he try a new brand. So we opted for the new brand of canned cat food. My little baby boy sitting pretty. He loves his dry food but is losing interest in his wet food. We put in a call to his doctor to find out what to do next. Out of desperation, I cooked him an extra lean @wholefoods ground beef slider (no roll) with a side of puréed pumpkin. Sure, he loved that! P.S. When I was a little girl, occasionally we would travel a fair distance to visit my aunt and uncle at their lake house. Their home was built three-quarter over the water on cinder blocks. I can still recall the gentle lapping of waves under the house. It was very soothing to behold. I remember being told that there was a magical place on the lake called Fudgesicle Island. One could only get there by boat, canoe or even by paddle boat. Once one arrived on the island one could actually pick frozen fudgesicles right off the trees.
