I've been having internet accounts since 2012 and I used to love it despite the "dangers". The fun of posting on sparkly skyblogs and creative outlet it provided always outweighed the awkwardness of some creepo sending teenage me an unwanted explicit message. Now I'm an adult in her late 20s and things have changed so much 😥

What I used to post was mostly art, the most art having been posted on my insta and tumblr. I'd love to share it again but now there's this whole technofascist dystopia (I felt like putying this between brackets as hahaha hoho, here's a jokey joke bit problem is it's really not far from the truth) going on, with its super villains and the AI bandwagon.

I don't feel like feeding such a personnal part of me to any social media platform because I don't wish to support those behind it. And I don't want my art to be fed to generative AI, as this is sadly unpreventable. But I still feel like sharing and connecting to ppl that might like it 😥

When I was 6-7 years old we had several field class in the alsacian countryside and here we were offered the following "craft" project : we were each given one barn owl's pellet to dig into. Pellets are coughed out by the owl and contain all it is they couldn't digest , so the bones of the small critters they feed upon . We were given a black sheet of canson paper to stick those tiny bones onto as a souvenir ! - and probably to learn about the barn owl's role as a regulator of small rodent populations ?? Anyways now looking back this was so metal xD

It was so small so riquiqui as i may say so with shaggy feathers and a certain sense of absence in its two little marble for eyes

I gave him some piece of my banana he then flew away with a beakful of the goode froute
