Good, Iâm glad to hear that. What sort of books did you listen to while we were all shut in from the storm?
Mostly mysteries. Those are my favorite. So I was going through my old Agatha Christie novels.Â

abbizimmsâ:
Thatâs really awesome. And itâs great that you have them. Itâs honestly really cute that you and Sky got to bond over the mystery. Iâm sure that was really special for you.
It was. they tried to act like they werenât interseted, but that went out the window pretty quickly.Â
lawyerlisaâ:
Thank you, Timothy, thatâs very thoughtful of you. Iâm assuming you were able to get your screen readers replaced?
Yeah, I ordered them the first day of hte blizzard so that theyâd get delivered shortly after the snow let up.Â
amberfawzyâ:
I had a feeling you might say something like that but yes, Iâm totally getting you something. I promise itâll be something useful too. But Iâm glad youâve all got somewhere thatâs more accommodating for your family. Your dogs must really like the bigger space too, huh?
So, so true. But yes! Since thereâs multiples and Iâm supposed to be induced March 28th so itâs a little bit more likely that theyâll get here on time. But weâll see! Iâve been journalling throughout my pregnancy whenever I remember to, and thatâs mostly where Iâve been counting down. I hope he will get into school a bit more when he gets older too. Heâs not a bad student, academically, but it can be hard to get him to buckle down and get his work done sometimes. Since he does like to socialize in his own way, I think itâll become an incentive for him, like if he gets into clubs or sports or things like that.
Yeah, Tinkerbell really loves getting to run around, because even though sheâs tiny she thinks sheâs a big dog. Sammi doesnât care as much, but sheâs always been more chill because of her training.Â
That should definitely help, especially since from what I have heard from some of the teenagers at the church thereâs grade requirements. Though my high school was too small to have anything like that, so pretty much everything I know there comes from what I overhear.
abbizimmsâ:
1) Hooray
2) Yikes. That absolutely sucks. I hope you had some help.
We held up mostly fine at my place. There was a tense day, but then there was the amazing moment where Milo said his first word!
Yeah, Benjy and Sky were both great, I just couldnât use my own technology. But there wasnât a lot going on, so it wasnât a huge deal. Just gave more time for family bonding. I honestly got Sky to listen to one of my mysteries, and they got really into it.Â

amberfawzyâ:
Oh thatâs so good to hear. Iâm glad that theyâre doing so well, and that things have improved with you all having moved into somewhere more spacious. Although now that I know that you guys have moved, I wanna get you a belated housewarming gift!
It definitely is, more so at the very end than any other part, although I donât miss the morning sickness at the beginning either. The middle of it was the best of the trimesters. Thatâs very true though. I know heâll be mostly excited to see his friends again but I donât really expect too much excitement for the academic aspect of school from a 3rd grader lol.
Well thank you, I donât know what we really need as a housewarming gift, but Iâll just say thank you for whatever it is in advance. We did kind of keep moving on the down low though, I donât think either of us wanted it to be a huge deal.Â
At least itâs almost done. I know that due dates donât mean anything, but do you have a countdown going anyway? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe heâll get more into it when he gets older.Â
lawyerlisaâ:
It happens, unfortunately. But yes, Iâm starting to. Thank you.
Good. If you werenât probably would have ordered you some soup.Â
amberfawzyâ:
Awwww how nice! I bet they loved that too. How are they doing by the way?
Yesss, true! Weâre getting really close to their due date! Iâm glad about that too, it would have been terrifying to be honest since none of us in the Hernandez home have any kind of medical background, other than me being CPR certified. The twins are good though! Everything looked great at my last appointment. Iâve been really tired again, and a bit more moody, but the doctor says thatâs normal. I just have to stay off my feet little more often from here on out and keep drinking a lot of water. And Demetriâs doing really well too although I think he was enjoying the snow days from school a little too much with how much he wasnât looking forward to going back to school lol.
Skyâs doing great. I think since we moved into Danteâs old place that has helped us all out a lot because thereâs a lot more space than in Benjyâs old apartment so weâre not all over each other. And thereâs a much less chance of me tripping over anyoneâs things. But I think theyâre glad to be able to go back to school, theyâve missed their friends.Â
I canât blame you for being tired, pregnancy sounds exhaustion. But that sounds like a kid, he got all these days off so why not pretend that itâs the same as summer vacation. But heâll get in the groove again.Â
amberfawzyâ:
Aww Timothy Iâm so sorry. But Iâm glad you were still able to enjoy some books during all of that!
Things were pretty eventful at one point over here. I started experiencing Braxton Hicks and Miguel and I thought it was early labor but it definitely wasnât. So that wasâŚsomething! Lol. The good thing though is that it kind of jump-started us preparing our bag for the real deal, which is coming up pretty fast!
I am too. Plus there was a lot of bonding time with Sky which Iâm really glad that we were able to get that time.Â
Well thatâs exciting! It means that the twins are getting ready to come. But Iâm glad that you didnât go into early labor during the storm. I can imagine that would have been terrifying. Iâm glad you all didnât have to figure out what to do. How are the little ones doing?Â
lawyerlisaâ:
Congratulations on your survival. It sounds like you found a peaceful way to pass the time though.
I, unfortunately, spent most of the time being sick with a cold. Granted it was probably the best time to have become ill, but I hate getting sick, regardless of convenient timing.
Oh, Iâm so sorry. Are you at least starting to feel better now?Â

Good news: I survived the snow storm.Â
Bad news: Both of my screen readers (for my phone and computer) both managed to completely break the first day after lockdown and I couldnât really use anything.Â
I did however, listen to a ton of books. How did everyone else hold up?Â
Text --> Dante
Dante: Um. Ok. I'll try.
Timothy: Is there any chance the roads are just slightly drivable enough for you to pick me up at the church and drive me home?
Timothy: I mean I can stay at the church if I have to but I really don't want to.
Text --> Dante
Timothy: So I need to ask you something.
Timothy: But I was to preface it with I did something super stupid.
Timothy: And I don't want to hear the lecture because I know.
benjyhendricksâ:
âI know! It seems like way too much for a preteen. I donât think the level of homework they get is appropriate for someone who isnât in high school yet,â he shook his head. âIf theyâre procrastinating that is a different story though.â
âThatâs very true. Though we also might want to check if the amount of the work is the reason theyâre procrastinating, that seems to be a common thing at that age,â Timothy admitted, âLike we definitely still need to hold them accountable, I just also want to make sure thereâs not more going on.âÂ
danteaaronsâ:
âThere you go. And if you want a couple beach recommendations, I can give them to you guys. Beaches down there that arenât so crowded but still nice.â Dante hadnât gone down to the beaches in California in a long time but he doubted much had changed and was sure that if Benjy and Timothy decided to take that sort of a trip, that the two of them could enjoy the peace of it, if nothing else.
âIâll talk it over with Benjy and then let you know if we need them,â Timothy smiled, admitting that a less crowded beach definitely sounded ideal. The last thing that he really wanted was to be somewhere new when it was jam-packed with people. âAt least itâs easy enough for both of us to take time off that itâs not going to be a huge deal. Or at least I think it will be, since Iâm not sure how itâs working now that Benjy is joining Emeraldâs show.â Â

benjyhendricksâ:
âI completely understand. I donât love the sound of my own voice, but at this point, Iâm used to it. I have to listen back more often than I would like to,â he scrunched his nose a little. âHow about I finish up a little more with this, and then Iâll help you with dinner - unless Sky gets to it first. But if they want to help, ask if they finished their homework first. I caught them up past 11 working on their homework the other night.â
âYeah, Iâll make sure to ask. Which speaking of their homework, how in the world do they have so much? Like I know itâs been 20 years and I went to a k-12 school with a graduating class of 10, but the amount of homework they have just seems ridiculous.âÂ
danteaaronsâ:
âYeah. Itâs one of the things thatâs not so easy to adjust to, but I know itâs not impossible to either.â He then listened to Timothy and nodded, âYeah. I could understand that for going alone or with someone who doesnât know you all that well, but the nice thing with you guys choosing your vacation for your anniversary, you can choose to go somewhere quiet, like the beach or up to the mountains.â
âI donât think that Iâve ever actually been to a beach, so thatâs a pretty good idea,â Timothy admitted, âIâll have to bring it up to Benjy. Plus if we go to California we could easily drive and that makes the trip a little less stressful.âÂ
