Optimus gives his life to save Cybertron, to give Cybertron life again (Heheh kinda like how Primus used his life to create Cybertron in the first place)

Megatron had long since left the planet, the idea of conquest now leaving a foul taste in his mouth after experiencing first hand the pain and fear that comes with being put under the forceful control of a tyrant. There's no freedom in that.

But something nags at him, something isn't right as he travels away he can feel a flickering in his own spark as its twin begins to fade.

This couldn't be? Optimus would never perish so easily? After all this time all his failed attempts this couldn't be right?

Megatron recalls what Dreadwing said about his own Twin Skyquake and how even way out in space he felt when his other half returned to the All Spark.

Was this really it?

Eventually things fall quiet, it feels like a part of himself has been lost. Missing and can never be returned.

Anger. Frustration.... Grief

Megatron is to proud to admit it but he will miss Prime. Both his greatest foe but who was once a long time ago his closest ally. A fact he had not forgotten though had long since put aside for the war.

Now it was over and Optimus was gone....

It was filed by Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN).

this is literally, unironically, how Putin came to power in Russia. first he served his 2 terms. then he got them to amend the constitution so that non consecutive terms could be infinite. then, he got voters to amend the constitution again to say that Putin could run infinitely by packaging the amendment with pensions. now, we're here.
