In total war Troy I’m playing Odysseus and I’m in the middle of like 3 wars but I broke two non-aggression agreements so my favor in negotiating for supplies is -23 rn (basically inflation is crazy rn in my faction) but also it’s so much fun because I’ve been able to manage it. Taking the time to fight key battles manually has helped. My main legion that has odyssseus at the head is Great since I stack it the best soldiers. I feel bad for lowkey sacrificing a few armies but after I fight manually in those I just go in to crush them with Odysseus after. Since they’re both separating it’s tougher now I’m at a stand arms until Odysseus came back to help take over north of Ithaca. So, once my negotiating power is back i can stock up on resources again. I could easily negotiate for fair prices on buying and selling my resources. Also I’m better at choosing which gods to worship depending on my situation. Also I’m better navigating the actual the legions during the battles. I just need to go take control of a new region on the coast to build up a strong solid satellite between Ithaca and Troy.
