He passed all but two of his O.W.L subjects, with most of those passing grades being the equivalent of ‘B’ and ‘A-’ grades (in other words, with higher-than-average marks). During their exam period, Harry even points out that Ron was going through “five years of Charms notes”, implying that Ron had been putting serious effort into his studies for the entirety of their school years. Seems pretty darn good for someone who apparently “doesn’t care enough about school-work to actually try”.
