my favorite thing about frank crozier is he’s spiritually a completely demoralized sad midwestern man with an ex-wife, untreated depression, and a career as a high school math teacher who drinks on the job. he is NOT an action hero or a born leader. he is NOT motivated to get better. and yet when shit hits the fan he does some really beautiful, heroic things. Francis Crozier is just Some Dude You Know Who’s Gonna Die Like This Some Day Probably up until he gets to the end of the world in extremis and somehow, for once in his life, picks his shit up and shows himself to be made of such courage and kindness. now that it doesn’t matter at all if he believes in himself or not. ahahaha wow i love u francis crozier
