are there any more details that could be possibly added on the whole callum crown memory wipe incident? wouldnt that cause the government to collapse? how did the society recover after this?(besides the "picking up the pieces without callum" part) who got ran for leader afterwards?
This is something I've been intentionally vague about. Believe it or not, the next 60 seconds after Crown wiped his memory is something I HAVE written about privately, but I'm not sure how much sense it'd make to see it without proper context. It's a clichΓ© for me to say it, but you truly would have more questions, not less.
Norm's telling of events is missing two very significant things relating to how the Dialup happened, as he was not there to see it all. And no, Crown's old role was not filled by anyone else after he vacated it.
You have to understand that while Crown was effectively running the world, he did so by feeding orders to each world leader directly. More or less telling them how to prepare for the big incoming shift. The Dialup was only meant to be the first stage of his grand plan after all. The other leaders were essentially left in charge of basic local government and national PR for that time.
When it all ended, there was a profound sense of "Okay, I guess we're all in charge again. So, now what?" For about a year or so, the world was incredibly strange. International news was quiet, world leaders had little to say about how the world had been changed or Crown himself. Questions were evaded by leaders. What should have been a chaotic time was strangely calm. Enemies were no longer at each other's throats. There was world peace for a time, though only briefly.
Gradually, people sorta realized that birds were still hanging out in trees, the tides were still rising, and the world still needed the same governance it had before. And it all went back to how it would've gone anyway and the timeline gradually caught back up in the next 5-10 years. In this sense, Norm's telling wasn't inaccurate.

sometimes u headcanon a character as a sexuality but then also ship things that contradict that. sometimes you ship things you would NEVER EVER want in canon. this is because these things are fun and silly and not legally binding.
Yeah I don't know where some people got this idea that fanfic is always like, auditioning to replace canon or being posited as "better" than canon, as opposed to people just borrowing the characters to play with in the sandpit for a while before putting them back in their box
