which I finally noticed— after watching Doomcoming for the 15th time— looks a lot like the one Nat later acquires, in a slightly repurposed Nat kind of way. (pretty sure that's the same animal skull at least)

all this got me wondering (during a flash of hyperfixation mania) if the crown Lottie wears at Doomcoming was just the audience seeing through the girls' shroom-induced POVs.

but it seemed like I remembered a shot of Lottie making the second crown way before they took the shrooms, and I was right (you can see the animal skull clearly in the second photo).

in other words, this diva really did make two crowns. but for what purpose, who knows. did she sense that 'something was coming' before she even said the words?

whether Shauna repurposed the same crown or not is hard to tell, thanks to what we refer to as her "sock", but— as an interesting sidenote— it is definitely Shauna's crown that adult Lottie sees in place of her therapist in S2.

it's also similar to what young Lottie sees in the cave except— that particular vision of the antler queen has a lot more points (and is just creepier in general).

and I could not end this post without the most adorable antler queen of all (in our heads, at least): baby Lottie.
