Una sopa tradicional proveniente de las zonas alto andinas es la PATASCA, que del quechua quiere decir “reventado” o “partido”, pues es a base del maíz Mote que se abre por el hervor.

Se considera una sopa poderosa pues contiene un alto nivel nutritivo al poseer un concentrado de cabeza de carnero, vísceras de res, maíz, papas y especias. En algunos lugares de la sierra se le llama también Sopa de Mote o Sopa de Mondongo. Cuando es preparada con cabeza de carnero o res, la llaman caldo de cabeza.

like i get it, but the first book is such a nuanced and nicely written story on systematic abuse, power, who gets to be acknowledged as a victim, industrialization and the isolation it imposes on rural communities, prejudice, etc. and i guess i was just expecting something very different from the community built around it.

that's one of the reasons why I couldn't continue to write fanfic about most of Norton's characters. idk if its just the autism™ but it didn't feel right.

I saw 1408 in 2008. I’ve watched it again in 2024.

When I watched it for the first time I was looking for terror and thrills.

When I watched it recently, I think it’s an emotional story rather than horror.

Fun fact: Stephen King wrote the story as a haunted hotel room story.

Another hotel haunting story by King is The Shining- well known film.
