      when  fiona  spins  his  chair  in  her  direction,  rhys  doesn’t  dare  complain  as  he  pushes  himself  away  from  his  desk.  the  second  she’s  in  his  lap,  the  atlas  president  is  moving  to  press  his  face  into  the  crook  of  her  neck,  inhaling  deeply.  she  smells  of  sweat  and  grime—rhys  figures  today  was  a  BUSY  one  down  on  pandora.  running  around,  beating  the  skag  crap  out  of  bandits  and  trying  to  get  leads  on  the  next  vault.  you  can  take  the  girl  out  of  pandora,  but  you  can’t  take  pandora  out  of  her.  he  ADMIRES  that  in  her,  if  he’s  honest.

      lifting  his  head  to  look  at  the  parts  on  his  desk,  lips  purse  together  for  a  moment  before  he  speaks.  what  was  he  working  on  again  ? ❝  it’s  an  upgrade  for  gortys,  actually.  though  i’m  nowhere  near  finished  it.  got  a  few  more  bugs  and  kinks  i’ve  gotta  work  out  before  presenting  it  to  her.  ❞  pulling  away  from  the  con  artist,  rhys  leans  back  in  his  chair  and  lets  out  a  heavy  sigh.  though  the  kiss  she  gives  him  DOES  help  wonders—the  small  grin  plastered  on  his  lips  making  this  fact  evident. ❝  i  need…  i  need  to  finish  these  though.  ❞  a  WHINE  leaves  rhys  then,  lips  turned  up  into  a  deep  pout. ❝  but  everything’s  been  going  WRONG  !  i’ve  got  my  PA  coming  in  here  every  ten  minutes  informing  me  my  employees  aren’t  doing  what  i  pay  them  to  do,  and  my  binders  making  me  feel  all  sweaty  and  just…  gross.  i  feel  so  gross.  ❞
