On one hand Marinette shouldn't choose people she's so close to. If one person is exposed then you can start looking at the others around them and connecting the dots. Especially in scenarios like Miracle Queen where many identities were found out like it's weird Gabe and Nathalie didn't look at the other classmates more.

Sure, she knows that Nat and likely Tomoe are still a security risk for Alya, Nino, Max, and Kim(Kagami & Luka don't count, since you know, Kagami exposed herself faster then Chloe did and refuses to even try to keeping it a secret ever since, & Luka is off in brazil) but to her knowledge Nat is "good" now and they don't know Tomoe is working for Chrysalis.

Plus the willing akuma retcon removes Chloe as a potential risk there too.

See on one hand Marinette has no idea who 'Chrysalis' is and they could be an unrelated third party for all she knows.....

Alya also said that Chloe "is worse than Hawk Moth" after she damaged the gift. I mean, it was probably a spur-of-the-moment thing, but it's definitely a huge exaggeration to compare a terrorist terrorizing the city to a bullywho just destroyed a present.

Like on one hand people do use exaggerated hyperbole like that.

The Morning After the Encounter with The Ogre

Chloe woke up.

Once more, strange dreams. A king yelling, screaming at an encroaching warrior in dark armor.

It was dreams like that which made her wake up at odd hours these days.

Well. Time to get ready.

Chloe walked quietly to the mirror. A quick glance outside showed it was dark out.

Dawn hadn't come.

Ignoring that, Chloe looked at herself.

Her hair had been growing out in her natural dark color. There wasn't much point in keeping it dyed blonde anymore.

Still, the two tone look was rather good. Perhaps she should dye it again once it was fully grown out?

...part of her wondered if her hair matched her biological father, who apparently lived here.

But with Audrey dead, she had no way of knowing who he was. Assuming he hadn't taken ill and fallen to the Clench.

Speaking of, Chloe gazed at her newly formed scars.

She hadn't gotten any during her time in Paris, as Queen Bee or from the Akumas. Every time, the wounds were wiped away by Ladybug's grace.

(Not the ones of the mind, though. Never those.)

But there was no Ladybug here. The scars remained. A mark of remembrance.

There were several pockmarks across her face, with one large group around the side of it. Each one corresponding to a place that had a pox upon it.

Doctor Eckerd had called it 'atrophic scarring' and it was all over her.

But it wasn't the only scar she had gotten that night.

The glass window had cut fiercely when she had smashed her way through it. Heller had carefully extracted the shards from her skin, tossing them away as she went.

The cuts had scarred. These were on her arms mostly, having instinctively raised them in an attempt to protect her face.

Still, a dozen or so cuts were better than burning with Babylon.

...there was also the matter of the bullet graze on her hand. The one that made her hand fly open in pain, casting her phone onto the streets below.

If that 'Merciful' Man hadn't suffered a severe muscle spasm, he might have actually managed to shoot her.

And while a gunshot wound was survivable — as the events of last night demonstrated — the shock would have likely caused her to fall.

...she had never been so close to death before.

Does this mean that Miraculous has stopped airing in less receptive countries, or is it another example of the writers trying to make Zoe special for being "the first confirmed LGBT character in the series"? I'm not sure if seasons 5 and 6 explicitly stated that Juleka and Rose, as well as Nath and Marc, are a couple.

Again, I repeat: I'm not homophobic, but I can't resist questioning this.

To be fair, they are going more in on the lgbt rep. Whether it's because they've stopped airing in homophobic countries or they've decided they'd rather push for it and deal with the censorship rather than be cowards, or the fact that despite some /very/ loud pushback from bigots things are getting better.

Julerose and Marcnath are both canon now with on screen kisses. Bustier has her wife. Etc. So Zoé isn't the focus.

Fic that /looks/ like Marinette salt, with her yelling at the class for some minor thing that shouldn't be a big deal.

The rest of the class are confused because this is wildly out of character for her, and it seemed to come out of nowhere; She seemed perfectly fine yesterday.

And then in the middle of her ranting at them someone goes "Marinette, your pupils are different sizes. Do you have a concussion?". (Probably Kim, I could see him knowing how to tell if someone is concussed. Sports tend to run that risk.)

Reveal that the reason Marinette is acting out of character is because she tripped down the stairs and got a concussion, but decided to go to class instead of getting it checked out.
