Fond of obscurity since 1991

I am currently in a BS situation where I want to further my career in tech but instead I am working for a company that sounds like it should be tech but it isn't. Its a service provided to companies when their actual IT department passes off their grunt work for us to do. Which involves moving furniture, replacing heavy machines and peripherals and to do it very quickly to appease the company. In IT there are different levels of support and I am not in any of those categories. The work is dull and repeats itself. Honestly I am already tired after every shift and rebounding for the next day is pushing me to my limit. I spoke to HR(yes I know hr is BS) to express why I exhausted my time off already and I am required to have a doctors note :T A fucking doctors note???? I am telling you with the words from my mouth how I feel and you're telling me that's not enough? I hate this so much. In Europe you will be backed and protected from american work culture. You would be granted time off when needed and wouldn't need to prove anything other than the norm. My managers don't give a fuck about us either. If you try to bring up a concern they will brush it under the rug. Did I mention it's sexist? Yes sure IT is usually a male role, but that is nonsense. Anyone can do it. So if a guy brings up an issue to the managers they will pal around and try to come to a middle ground but when I do it. It seems like a problem. I think the funnier part is so many people leave this specific role, no one has been there for a year yet, yikes.
