It was designed by Iginio Cappai and Pietro Mainardis to serve as both a cultural center and a residential complex for Olivetti employees.
The buildingβs distinctive form, with its modular capsule-like units, was conceived to resemble a typewriter.
It is a key part of the Olivetti complex, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
