I find it counterproductive that the same episode where Asgore learns to let go of the past and undergoes significant character development is the same episode where he's kidnapped by the knight, and what could have happened to him in the later episodes probably won't even occur

If I had a coin for every time I encounter a fandom that hates/despises a female character who is a mother, I'd have 3, which isn't much, but it's curious that it's happened three times
I have this little headcanon about the Skelebros and Gaster, where Gaster isn't their biological father, but rather their adoptive father. This goes hand in hand with the theory that Sans and Papyrus didn't originally come from Undertale, and that, with Sans completely lost and nowhere to go in a new world, Gaster appeared as a beacon of light, becoming a pillar of support for both of them, at least before the incident with Gaster I also think Gaster is old asf
Have you ever seen a character portrayal that you found weird?
Well, it happens to me with Toriel within the fandom, and sometimes I see her portrayed as someone who treats other adults like children.
And look, I know that Toriel's motherhood is very important to her character, but I think some people take this aspect of her character to the extreme, making it seem like she infantilizes other characters when, in fact, she treats her friends as equals and is perfectly capable of forming friendly bonds.

I find it hilarious when people say Toriel doesn't deserve Asgore when it's the complete opposite.
Okay, let's say hypothetically Asgore manages to prove that he only wanted to protect others. Tell me, will that change the fact that Toriel is NO LONGER romantically attracted to him?
I mean, you don't have to be a genius to realize that in all their current interactions, Toriel is uncomfortable around him. That woman doesn't want his ass.
Flowers won't bring her back. Asgore doesn't understand that giving her flowers to remind her of the past instead of having a serious talk about it simply won't work. Besides, it's certainly strange that he's followed her around twice now.
And given that her strongest value is her integrity, it would be extremely strange to see her change her opinion about Asgore so drastically.
Do I think they should have a talk and confront their chaotic feelings and come to an agreement to resolve their problems, not only for their own sake, but also for Kris's, above all? YES, absolutely they should. Which is certainly complicated considering Toriel's avoidant tendencies and how detached from reality Asgore is. Even so, they have to do it, but I think it's very difficult and I don't think they should get back together.
Sometimes I think people took the "Sans is bagging my mom" joke WAY too seriously. I've heard people go so far as to say that Sans took advantage of Toriel while she was drunk, which is extremely weird. While the intention between them in that scene was romantic (at least on Toriel's part—I mean, come on, that look she gave him said it all), it doesn't go so far as to suggest they maked out.
I'm sorry, it's just that when people SERIOUSLY believe that happened and try to bring up such a sensitive topic and accuse Sans of that fact because of their excessive resentment, that's when I think their way of thinking is disgusting.

Genuine question, where did people get the idea that it's CANON that Shadow Milk is a physically weak character?
His Korean voice actor was referring to him being an EMOTIONALLY weak character, as far as I know. Besides, why would witches bake one of the 5 virtues (considered divine emissaries) as someone very physically weak?
(I'm not saying you can't consider it a kind of headcanon, I think that's fine, but it can't be considered canon in the story either)
