Ingredients:

CINNAMON FILLING: 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, just melted (not boiling) 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

CREAM CHEESE GLAZE: 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter 2-ounces cream cheese, at room temperature 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

PANCAKES: 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil

Directions:

Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the filling into a quart-sized heavy zip baggie and set it aside (see *Tips below).

Prepare the glaze: In a small pan, heat the butter over low heat until melted. Turn off the heat and whisk in the cream cheese until it is almost smooth. Sift the powdered sugar into the pan, stir and add in vanilla extract. Set the pan aside while you make the pancakes.

Prepare the pancake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the milk, egg and oil, just until the batter is moistened (a few small lumps are fine).

Emma Pickett has been missing since 8am, the morning of Tuesday, November the 12th. She is 5’8”, roughly 110 pounds, with purple-grey hair and blue-green eyes. She left wearing a beanie that says “Stay Cute” and a sweater like the one in the picture I’ll include. The last time anyone has heard from her was 11 am yesterday (Tuesday the twelfth). I’ve spoken with her friend Martin and he says that when he spoke with her on the phone, at around eleven, she had had a sip of vodka and was apparently intoxicated. She’s very tall and very tiny, so only a small amount of alcohol could have done that to her. She sent a few messages to people such as Martin and myself saying things to the effect of “I love you, I’m sorry.” The police traced the last call/text she made to the Palo Alto area, about fifteen minutes outside of her home in Cupertino. Kazuma Matsui’s brother got an anonymous tip yesterday, as follows 

I took these screencaps at 1:35 Central Standard Time, which is 11:35 Pacific Standard time, which means Kaz’s brother probably got this text around 11:21 pm last night, November the twelfth. Kaz and the police went out looking for her at the park and the surrounding area and didn’t find anything. Still no phone or car. 

Emma’s mother (I am in direct contact with her) says this about her phone “I think her phone is off; of course I’ve left messages, but police said cell checks show no activity (& they have ATT doing ping checks every 15 min). I think she knew we would track her; she’s smart” 

and this about the police’s efforts “The police have a state wide alert for license plate & are going to put out a press alert on evening news I think”

As of right now, 8:09 PST, they have not located Emma, her car, her phone, or anything that ties into her. 

The license plate on her car is 4PIJ247. PLEASE LOOK FOR A BLACK JAGUAR (ABOUT A 2002) WITH THIS LICENSE PLATE. 

We’re exploring all options. If you find out anything at all about Emma, please contact me, Paige on Emma’s blog, dogbun or at (760) 914-1623, Kaz on dog-san, or call (408) 299-2311 (this is the number the deputy gave me yesterday when she called) and tell them you have information about Emma Pickett. 

Please hope really hard and pray, if that’s your thing. 

Also, for the record, this is very real. This is very very real. Please message me if you have any questions or if you need for me to affirm the reality of this situation for you. I assure you that when Emma is found, she will be coming home to a good place. Again, if you don’t trust contacting me, please call the deputy. I am Emma’s girlfriend, and I’m very much in love with her. I want nothing but her safe return.
