BOS West Virginia Chapter

Hey guys! I want to tell you a little bit about my Dad: He is 51 (turning 52 this month) and loves video games. I remember sitting on his lap while he played through the World of Warcraft beta, and him teaching me how to play Neverwinter Nights at a young age. He taught me how to game, and to this day continues to be my #1 gaming buddy.

Over the past few years, he has grown fascinated with how the gaming community has developed, particularly game streaming. He loves it, and because of that he decided he wanted to try doing it himself. However he was worried he was too old to get started and people wouldnt like him very much. I told him it didnt matter and he should do what makes him happy, and this definitely makes him happy.

I know the biggest thing that makes a streamer popular is publicity so I wanted to make this post to help him out. Please help my Dad’s dream come true! Im not asking for a bunch of twitch followers, but some would be nice. At the very least a reblog would help! Any form of support would be greatly appreciated, even just a little bit to help encourage him to keep streaming.

In addition, and in spirit of the holidays, he also has a separate twitch account where he dresses up like Santa and plays games. He only really streams on this one around the holidays, but they are approaching, and its really good if you want something cute and different!
