Woodcocks and a few other species have mastered this bounce-step in order to trick worms and other Arthropoda into thinking rain has come by sending rhythmic vibrations through the soil as they walk. Many bugs surface during heavy rainfall to avoid drowning, hence why the sidewalks are always littered with earthworms during and after a storm.

If you walk with rhythm you will attract the worm.

getting bullied at art school is the worst bc not only are you getting picked on by people who post voltron discourse but every mean thing they say to you is verbatim lifted from a text post you’ve already seen and that has damaged my self respect in a way that nothing else ever could

knowing i am lower on the college food chain than 20 year olds who say “weird flex but okay” and “sure jan” in real life has done irreparable psychological damage

Wording is incredibly important here guys! Do not say “I want a lawyer”. That can be interpreted as a statement of fact and not an invocation of your rights. Specifically say that you are invoking your right to an attorney and that you are invoking your right to remain silent

And if you speak after you say "I am invoking my right to remain silent", you will need to re-invoke your right to remain silent as speaking voids that statement. Be careful! Don't let them goad you into breaking your silence. I'd even say make sure to invoke your right to a lawyer and deny a search then claim your right to remain silent, even if it's in the same sentence, to avoid any 'misunderstandings'.
