Angelo/Daisy/Gretel/Lloyd - A Day at the Beach!
@Lloyd: âFineâ She responded shortly and for a moment continued putting her sunscreen on in silence.Â
Todayâs strategy was simple: replies short, disinterested, and attention to a minimum. He was constantly asking to be left alone, wasnât he? Well a little experiment to see exactly what would happen if she complied wouldnât do any harm. Shortly, it was an experiment to see if taking away the attention, he would at some point come seeking it.
"Since those two are busy, can you help me?" A small smile creeped up her lips. But the dayâs plan in no way meant that she didnât get to add in a little extra tease here and there. "If you donât want to get your pretty hands dirty with sunblock, I understand. Iâll just wait and ask Angelo instead."Â
She turned her back on him to watch the other two, deciding to stay out of their way for now, since her comment had apparently started some interesting interaction. She tapped her chin and a bigger smile curled her lips. This day just promised to be an interesting one whatever way she looked at it.
@Daisy: âYes⌠I donât think I will,â he quipped with a dismissive wave of his hand, trying to divert attention elsewhere so he could just settle in himself. A sigh of relief almost manifested once sheâd turned off to Angelo, but with a little self-restraint he kept it in, merely shifting up his glasses.Â
@Gretel: His brow took on a bit of an arch as he tilted his head to stare at her with some reluctance present in his expression. âMmph,â he shook his head, âItâs more a matter of should I bother helping you versus the state of my hands if you want the truth.â Lloyd gave a listless shrug, opening his mouth to speak, but pausing momentarily before actually forcing the words out. âYes⌠Angelo can deal with you.â The right decision, indeed.
@Daisy: Â "W-Wait... what?" Â Angelo looked at Daisy, surprised by the question. Â He waved his hands in front of him frantically, his face red. Â "N-No it's fine, really! Â I'll just..." His voice then trailed off, as he realised that he did need someone to help him. Â "Or, um, actually... s-sure." Â He held his bottle of sunscreen out to her, looking away.
@Gretel/Lloyd: Â When he heart Gretel and Lloyd mention his name, Angelo jumped in surprise once again. Â "H-Hey, why am I suddenly the one who has to do this? Â Come on Lloyd, help me out here!" Â Helping out Daisy was one thing, but Gretel too? Â This entire situation was embarrassing.
Really? Iâm so glad I can stay and keep you company~! *Giggles cheerfully*Â Oh, um, yes. Is there a T-Shirt you have that I can borrow?
Y-Yeah, you're welcome... [Nods his head, gesturing to a cabinet at the other side of the room] Â There's some shirts in there. Â I have some that are even too big for me, so you can probably wear it as a nightgown or something...

"Oh." Daisy sighed a little. Those dances were lots of fun, so she was a little sad. "Really? I never learned any ballroom dances when I was in school. Could you teach me? Please?"
"Um... sure, I'll see what I can do. Â Don't exactly remember them too well myself," he replied, laughing awkwardly. Â "Just follow what I do, okay?" Â And with that, he started to move, dancing along with the music, but slow enough for her to keep up.
*Her eyebrows furrow in worry as she watches Angelo cough, she pats his back a little** A-Are you okay? *nods* Please, Angelo? I promise I wonât be any trouble. I donât mind sleeping on the couch as long as I can be with you and make sure youâre okay.
[Nods his head, covering his mouth with his arm] Â U-Uh... yeah, I'm fine. Â Thanks... [Continues to look away, not entirely sure what to say] Â Well, um... if you really want to, then I guess it's okay... I really will be fine though, Daisy. Â [Finally turns to face her, his face still red] Â Do you, um... Do you need something to change into...?

Daisy smiled, trying to think of the dances she knew. âHmm⌠I know the bunny hop! Itâs lots of fun~! Oh, and, um⌠The hokey pokey.â
Angelo laughed, shaking his head slightly. Â "Hm... I don't think those are exactly the types of dances we should do at a place like this..." He paused, trying to think if he could recall anything he had learned in the past. Â "Well... I did learn how to do a couple types of ballroom dances in high school. Â I'll see what I can remember."

She smiled and let Angelo lend a hand. After the umbrella was safely set in the sand, she took off the dress sheâd been wearing on the way, swimsuit already underneath, and dropped it along with her bag, next to the othersâ things. Before that, however, she took out her own bottle of sunscreen.Â
@Daisy: âOh, donât worry, Daisy, I have my own. But danke! ⌠pff- heheeââ She covered her mouth, muffling her laughter as Daisy offered Lloyd that kind of sunscreen. She could tell what the answer to that would be.
@Angelo: âJa, definitely!!â She grinned, starting to put on sunscreen on her arms âIâm glad we could make the trip before summer ends, at least itâs still warm enough to go for one last swim, ja?âÂ
She glanced at Daisy and back to Angelo, then back and forth a couple times again and suddenly smiled, adding in a cheerful tone âOh! Donât forget to put some on your back! the sun is super strong at this hour~ you should help each other with that~â
@Lloyd: âand you?â She glanced over her shoulder at him, sounding a lot less teasing as usual, in fact, almost a bit flat. She had been thinking up a new âstrategyâ, and today seemed like a good chance to try it. Plus, she still felt a little bit awkward after their last meeting at the crop festival âDo you need help with that?â
As soon as the umbrella is set up to his satisfaction, Lloyd wasted no time in spreading out a mat of his own and dropping down into the shadow it created, pushing some of the hair from his face as itâs blown into his eyes more than usual. Snubbing Angelo, his first lackadaisical address goes to Daisy.Â
@Daisy: He just briefly throws a glance her way, an effortless roll of his eyes as he looks away, towards some distant place. âIâll pass."Â
@Gretel: âHelp with whatâ Oh.â Taking a moment to apply the words barely heard thrown around between to the two girls to what had been said directly to him, Lloyd waved his hand without bothering to look in her direction. âImplying Iâll be coming out from under this, much less removing any more clothing. I donât desire your help anywaysâ I think you know that.âÂ
Angelo ignored Lloyd, not letting his constant bad mood get in the way of him enjoying himself. Â He nodded at Gretel's comment, reaching into his own bag to grab some sunscreen. Â "Yeah, I'm glad the trip worked out! Â Didn't think so many of us could make it all out at once," he beamed.
@Daisy: Â "Thanks Daisy, but I have my own as well!" he replied, beginning to put some sunscreen on his arms.
@Gretel: When Gretel made the comment about the sunscreen, he looked at her and tilted his head. Â "Huh? Â Can't the two of you help each other out with that, Gretel? Â It'd be a little weird for me..." Â His voiced trailed off as he turned away, face slightly pink. Â "But, um, yeah... I guess I would need help too."
Oh, okay. Just let me know if you do need something, then. Hm⌠*Looks out the window as well, taking a guess* Probably six or seven? *She yawns a little* Though Iâm a little sleepy.
Ah, okay, well... you can go home if you want, Daisy. Â You've done more than enough, and I'd feel bad keeping you for any longer. Â [smiles sheepishly at her]

Daisy giggled, smiling at the offer. âIâd love to dance, Angelo~! Iâm ready when you are.â
Angelo nodded his head, leading Daisy by the hand to the dance floor. Â "So, um, what types of dances do you know? Â I'm afraid I'm not exactly the best when it comes to dancing."
