Only thing I could think of during that scene

Just the way she didn’t really even break or show a lot of emotion up until the attic scene — just sort of sitting in quiet when literally everything around her that she depends on just gradually goes away is really harrowing to me. I think often that grief in many mainline films and stuff it’s often very like loud, and I think the way everything in the Walten household gets plucked away bit by bit with no one really being able to stop and do as little as panic about it, fuck man they were on some shit in the writing room.
