This is so true. A bit of an extreme example but a friend of mine (who has pretty much all the same opinions as me about men) who has known her boyfriend for four months recently learned he’s acted on pedophilia (he was 20, the girl was 15 and another was 14), constantly harassed women online for sex (there’s an entire Facebook thread JUST talking about him), and I also explained to her that he’s tried to make moves on me as well while they were together…….. she forgave him within a little over a week.

Safe to say I can’t look at her the same and it makes me sick considering we’ve both talked about how horrible pedo men have affected OUR lives
