Today's a very special day for one of the most important people in my life... It's my mom's birthday! For Christmas I made her a painting of Hitch but for her birthday she really wanted one of Story since she misses him like crazy (which is TOTALLY understandable, my dog is pretty fantastic). Love you mom and I miss you everyday!

So I've been following littlebitofbrynn for quite a while now because I've got a pretty bad cardigan obsession going on; so it was quite the treat when their mom contacted me about commissioning a painting! Got to paint their lovely pup, Pepper, for this one. It was a great way to get back into working on art after some major overtime at the job that actually pays the bills ;) So glad you enjoyed it <3

This girl, you guys. She is just beyond amazing, there are almost no words to describe just how much she means to me. I’ve had a rough couple of months recently and she has stuck by my side and been my friend through all of it and I cannot ever thank her enough for that. Lindsay, though we may live in different countries I honestly consider you to be one of my best friends and I look forward to talking to you every day. Have the BEST of days and Story and I both send you love and cuddles (and I’m not a cuddler, you know this!). I’ll be mailing this off to you in the next week. Love you <3

Just wanted to wish a very happy birthday to a special lady the cardi crew's mom! It was amazing getting to meet you after moving up here (and stalking your blog for over a year xD) and then finding a friend in you as well. Hope you and the pups are having a wonderful day <3

Drew a coworkers baby at work today. Just a quick 20 minute sketch but she was so cute! She fell asleep on me, it was amazing.

Finished this commission up just in time for it to arrive for the commissioners mom's birthday! This is Bear and Maddie! Always an interesting challenge to get two corgis into one painting from two photos, especially when they're quite different sizes. Look out in the next week or two though, got some special surprises planned out!

One of my favorite paintings I’ve done. It’s of Story and actually  inspired a full project that I mean to break ground on this summer in between commissions now that I’ve settled into life in Washington a bit more.

Also posting some Story art as he really doesn’t get the limelight in my art that he should! …And yes, I did force him to wear this silly costume. It was glorious.

Posting a few older pieces of mine that went down when I took down my original tumblr. That and I have to wait till Saturday to post the newest work!

My cousins wife sent me a picture of the painting I did for them for Christmas with the model! Always really fun getting to see my paintings in their new homes.

For anyone else interested in getting a commission done please note that for the first few weeks in May I will be on a short hiatus due to my day job taking over the world (or mine at least!)

Did my first real commission for the one and only rhysthecorgi! I had a lot of fun with this, his mom was absolutely wonderful to work with. Rhys is terribly cute <3
