Hello hi I've been away and a few things happened but like they're settling down finally. Also, to absolutely nobodies surprise, I've been diagnosed formally with severe ADHD lmfao.
Anyway why I've been away below the cut. It includes talks of death/health issues so like be aware.
Firstly my mum almost died. In a foreign country. And we couldn't contact her for weeks.
And then it turns out she had a DVT on the plane trip there, and almost died again. And there was the whole will thing and potentially assuming custody of my younger brother and all that shit. But she's okay now!
Oh and she was treated by the dude who treated Princess Diana after the crashassination, while she was still alive. So basically my mum got beatified.
Then I've been taking care of her and the house and the dogs and finances and everything else that was previously spread between 3 people which I'm relatively unprepared for. Without a car and in the middle of buttfucksville rural NZ mind you. On the plus I can now cook well, not to toot my own horn or anything, but it's actually pretty edible.
And then my government revoked the fees free progamme for the third year of tertiary education so I'm not sure I can evern go to University at all despite fast track offers (this is my second gap because of sooo many reasons and I Am Sick Of It).
Also jumped interests from One Piece exclusively to getting back into X-Men because, basically, I'm a slut for hot old men.
And I've been planning and drafting like an actual book that's been in the works for about 3 years now.
I've also been developing my own Script + Conlang, which I'm genuinely very proud of, it's predominantly influenced by Native North American and Caucus languages, and it's a diacritic abugida with no inherent vowel, functioning on a consonant-carrier base system derived from historical glottal stop reduction with abjad-like structural properties. It LOOKS cool trust.
Like I said-- got diagnosed with combined ADHD, 9/9 for both ;-; Big Fuck You to the psychologist I saw at fourteen who 1) decided I was weird for pronouncing my name the way it is traditionally pronounced and got pissy about it (?? grown ass man btw), and 2) said he wouldn't even look at ADHD because "you're too high achieving to have ADHD, you just need to bother applying yourself."
