No one in my personal life even gets on this website anymore, so i find solace in this place to say whatever i need, without worry. 

That’s nice.

Right now this global pandemic makes me feel lost, unimportant and helpless when it comes to continuing my job as a behavior intervention paraeducator.

Some of my students don’t even have internet, so most can’t tune into the online remote learning.

Those kids that struggle in school, are being left behind in the pandemic. 

Some left to be trapped in insecure homes.

My heart is heavy for those kids, and those who have lost their job and income.

I’m one of the lucky ones to keep receiving a paycheck through trying my best to support a kid through video chat. 

The mere check in can lift the kid up, but i still feel it’s not enough.

I constantly feel as if i am not doing enough. 

Starting seeds is helping.

Every seed is an act of hope for the future. 

I am sad that Garden Club and the school composting project is put on an indefinite pause, but i am continuing those projects through my own time....

I just keep telling myself, sow seeds of hope.
