Seeing as I am SLOWLY making my return to this hellsite, I figured I can make a quick post for all my blogs as an omni-promo of sorts. If you could, please share this so I can get back into the swing of things a little faster!

So, hi! My name is Lotus, I've been on and off on Tumblr RP for about 10 years. Some of you might remember me for my OC Ginya/Hoshirou, who was my first muse, others might remember me for what was my most popular blog, lunarisvesperaregina (currently archived.) This site has changed A LOT since I took my hiatus, so please be patient with me, I'm still learning how some of this new stuff works. I'm a massive gremlin, but I'm friendly! I swear! Please talk to me! As for the important things....

What video game can you not complete without cheat codes?

I'm generally the type to avoid cheats - I would add the No Grind mod to the PC version of Ruina, but I'm lazy as hell. I DO have mods on Cassette Beasts, but I beat the game before installing the mods, the mods are there for QoL, with the only actual "cheat" in there being boosted Bootleg rates for postgame collection purposes.

Touken Ranbu has very little gameplay. However, I will forever defend its right to exist because I love my boys and it'll always serve as a great source of FC material for male muses. As a side note...

What game made you rage quit the hardest?

I don't really rage quit, but I have taken breaks to let my tension ease up. I can't really remember any specific incidents, but I think the Purple Tear/Xiao/Distorted Messenger fights in Ruina were probably in the mix, as well as the Deathless Black Snake fight in Arknights (probably the level that stonewalled me the longest, other than that one DP-locked stage right before the final boss in Hortimus de Escapismo bc that event's stages SUCK despite having one of the best stage themes in the entire game.)

Gin Ibushi, Your Turn To Die (As of Chapter 3-1) - I indeed very much relate to the snarky, tiny, (CANONICALLY diagnosed) autistic little jerk who people seem to gravitate to despite being a very distinct brand of unapologetically weird. We love Gin in this house, and if Nankidai pulls some sort of plot twist with him, there will be CONSEQUENCES. As a side tangent, I actually really really like how he's written as a character with autism. Sure, he's probably way more competent than a child his age has any right to be, but it's clear that either Nankidai himself is autistic, or he did some serious research into how autism displays itself, or both. Because while Gin does have typical fictional super senses that kinda make it seem like it's turning hypersensitivity into a superpower with how damn sharp he is, he DOES also have lines that indicate he does have sensory issues with taste and texture, he has a very clear special interest (animals,) and even outright refuses to have it "treated" (for reasons that go slightly into spoiler territory.) He also doesn't fall into the aggravating savant archetype, because he's intelligent for his age, and he's surprisingly good at coping with being in a death game, he still relies on other people to figure out the importance of clues he finds and is very much still immature on some fronts, as befitting someone who's only 12. Sou to a lesser extent (it's why he was one of my mun FCs, though I plan to phase him out in favor for someone from either Manosaba or Arknights,) because he's useful in some aspects but also a pathetic excuse of an adult with far too many issues who could be beat up by a child or even a stiff breeze. Absolutely fascinating character with some serious depth, but also a pathetic bastard, and I feel that shit in my soul sometimes.

Chesed and Hod, Lobotomy Corporation/Library of Ruina - They both go here for somewhat similar reasons, wanting to be better or try harder, but struggling with doing so. Chesed’s history of being a guy who comes from privilege but still wanting to do something good in life also hits home because I frequently get reminded of how utterly lucky/spoiled I am, and I wind up feeling guilty about it because I feel like it’s probably wasted on me and would be better spent on someone else. Also like him, I am also a fan of good coffee, and I enjoy myself a nice cup in the morning. As for Hod, I also try to be the friend who’s there if you need to vent or talk about rough topics. I love talking with my friends, even if it’s not about pleasant things, I just like being able to know them better and be there with them, to share time together. So post-development Hod’s attitude about helping others on a personal level, out of genuine kindness instead of wanting to selfishly be seen as kind, is also something I can understand (and is not just why she’s one of my mun FCs, but also an inspiration for a certain muse of mine.)

Looking at my list again.... man, I have a massive bias towards characters with trauma. From brainwashing + manipulation, abandonment, being a sacrificial (child soldier) pawn to a country in a sort of power crisis, one character very heavily implied to be subject to things I'm not even going to touch upon, having a massive guilt complex because someone you cared about sacrificed themselves for your sake, your father/ancestor is an asshole which causes you a lifetime of problems, being forced to betray everyone you ever get close to, your sister/(ex-)boss went off the deep end and now it's your problem, etc.

Because it's been a week, here's the answers for the little game I posted! I wasn't expecting so many people trying their hand at it too, nor was I expecting to be such an enigma. Maybe I should yap about my blorbos more. And because I love these fuckers so much, I'm posting their pictures too, so you can now associate these fuckers with me if you don't already.

Ema is the Madoka to Hiro's Homura, but no. She's not as grating as some other protagonists with the "trademark protagonist energy," but I'm pretty neutral on her. She's cute, though, and I might be iconing her in the future.

Sha-ming, on the other hand, is a very odd case. He's objectively repulsive on account of how he treats Setsu and ignores their gender identity bc of them leaning femme, as well as his attitude towards women in general, not to mention... other questionable behavior on account of his childhood... BUT. He DOES have depth to him in some regard, and there's humanizing aspects of his character that makes him more sympathetic and interesting than other characters I don't like in that game (of which there's at least three, Kukrushka being one.)

Sha-ming is a slimy, degenerate piece of shit that I want to study under a microscope, then kick him in the balls.

Arisa is one of my favorites in Manosaba, I find that her personality and her insecurities clashing and intertwining are just... really interesting. She almost reminds me of Val, in some regards.

Kukurushka, though, I LOATHE. I can't explain why without ruining one of the biggest twists in the game, but she deserves nothing but the worst. She's also a MASSIVE pain in your ass from a gameplay perspective. Horrible partner as a Gnosia because her Logic is nonexistent, and she will go after whoever she doesn't like, and as a crew member, her aforementioned tendencies can get in the way. Her Charm and Stealth stats, on top of her being a decent liar (unless there's a flaw in her logic to abuse) also makes her a bitch to play AGAINST as either role. Most characters in the game are either well-rounded or are welcome teammates on one side or the other, but she's annoying as fuck to play around no matter what you are or what she is.
