Trying to render different materials for the first time. Most turned out better than expected.

Unfinished rendering of Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia. This was a test of applying my new knowledge of rendering matte surfaces to a figure. 

Techniques and object are from Scott Robertson’s How to Render. Very happy with how realistic it came out, but then again cubes are pretty simple.

Breaking down referenced images into simple shapes with perspective.

I was focusing the head, so beneath that is unfinished. Photo texture used for speckles. Technique used based on ctrl-paint’s rendering video approach.

Learning to render. Kind of just threw values all over and spent time adjusting them. Will need a better approach next time.
