meet "Snake Oil" Seleste, the local weapon designer and mad scientist. Somewhat derisively, called 'snake oil' by most of the local mercenaries and bounty hunters for her outlandish and often impractical weapon ideas. She's an eccentric personality to be sure.

Time magic was long thought impossible, because even small manipulations put immense strain on the human heart which is sensitive to even the tiniest interruption. By removing this fundamental flaw from the equation, time magic was unlocked. The complex time keeping and internal gear mechanisms of her body, not only prevent her from experiencing rapid deterioration like an organic mage, but also allow her clockwork brain to track her position in time and any differentials with ease.

concept sketches for an "autobow" knight. they lug heavy automatic crossbows around that are operated via handcrank. They are considered second line support personnel, clad in heavy armor due to the limited range/accuracy of their autobows

YEA. i had a relationship with someone and she dropped the “te amo” super quicky and i was like…………”thats ok, thank you, but im gonna be honest w you….i’m not saying te amo until i really feel it” thats how serious it is.
te amo IS very serious, very deep, very intimate. when you want to tell someone that you love them without it being massive, the term you want is te quiero

Maybe it is the English one that is weird
Controversial opinion alert, but I like the way we say ‘I love you’? I can gush over my coworker who helped me out, a friend who did something nice for me or something (like a fic I guess) produced by someone whose talents I want to enthusiastically applaud and no one will think I’m talking about a cornerstone Love, central to my entire being? But when I did last use ‘I love you’ to someone in that way, they understood. The context is what matters, not the words themselves.
I feel like Plato would have something to say about this, but im too lazy to think of something clever, lol.
