Your deep eyes

But you look away

As if I'm invisible,

My heart aches

And yearns for you//

So many memories with you,

The sunset and sunrise,

The moonless sky,

The stars and the satellites,

Dark bitter coffee,

And the stain of chocolate on your lips,

Warm hug and the accidental kisses,

My ugly poetries,

Your soft voice reciting my words,

The dirty paintbrush on your desk,

And the blue blanket of yours,

The midnight talk,

And your graffiti on the walls,

The smoke through your mouth,

Alcohol burning my throat,

The 3 am texts,

And my endless complains,

The ghosts that you saw,

And the past that haunted me,

Your head on my lap,

And the attempts to touch me,

The fingers intertwined,

But you'd let it go first,

Sleepless nights,

And your favourite songs blaring,

It all ended with you ignoring

Me.

It all ended so soon,

The story was short,

And executed perfectly,

Without you ever being

aware of my feelings.

I have never felt this way for anyone,

I have never felt the hurt like it did the day you stopped seeing me,

We were meant to be something more,

But you never let it progress,

You left me on the way,

Stranded and alone,

On my own.
