Canon QL17: Ran some Fuji 200 through this cool old 35mm. It’s been a great camera.
Canon FTb & Fuji200; the film test came back good. The meter did a fine job.
Olympus XA & Fuji400; some shots around town
Olympus XA & Fuji400; some shots of a pool party for pups.

I picked up an early Diana for a few dollars. Still had the box and instructions included lol. I purchased some Lomo120 film and have finished running this roll through. I can’t wait to see how badly I did with the first roll!
Olympus XA: everything worked perfectly with this tiny camera. I was a bit worried I would fumble the focus; it has a very short throw. My concerns were unjustified as I didn’t miss focus on anything during my first run. Exposing indoor or out, the meter performed admirably and gave me great results. No surprise there; my other Olympus rangers are excellent performers as well. I love this XA as much my EC2 and ECR. It’s ultra quiet and compact which makes for some shooting on the DL.
I was able to purchase this little Olympus XA recently. I got a great deal on it because another bidder backed out of the purchase. The description was pretty vague, so I was more then a little worried. All troubles vanished when I popped two batteries into the camera and everything checked out! Working light meter, self timer and most importantly, shutter. I gave it a quick cleaning. I didn’t even bother with light seals, loaded up some Kodak 200 and went shooting.
I picked up a very nice looking Canon FTb QL. It has a working light meter, which is great. I need to remove to top cover as the film counter was stuck on 7-8. So here are some pics of the progress. When you remove the ASA dial; set the film at 25 and shutter too 1000. This setting has no tension under the dial, so no parts flying off when the dial is lifted. After the top was off, I removed the prism. This was the easiest prism and viewfinder cleaning ever. I loaded up some film and it’s being tested now.
Scans vs. pics of prints: left side is Epson scans, right side is iPhone pics of the prints I picked up.
Very interesting. Minolta & Fuji film.

Minolta SRT101, 58mm f1.4: these are scans of the negatives on my new Epson scanner. I am glad I purchased this!
More shots from the Paradise fire. This was grandma’s house for 50 years.
A few of the things the family lost in the Paradise fire. So much lost.
Olympus 35RC & Lomo400; took these pics quite a while ago and only now just got to scan them. Mini goats at the local feed store.
What kind of dog is this?
Here he is in the fog...who’s a good boy?

Multanomah Falls: as low as I could get, angle wise.
Multanomah Falls: more standard stuff... nothing new here.
