Since it’s Mermay I figured I have some fun and do the cast of BTYBR as mermaids. Of course I have to start with the lovers.

Ya'll can blame @seraphimankh and @ichiwashername-o for this XD - they both inadvertently encouraged this after I got inspired by them and sent them an initial doodle. Then I ended up getting a bee in my bonnet in the middle of the night and finished this in about 2 hours Its late I need to sleep aksdjhksadfhaskdfhj

I do love me some polymorph, it must be said lol - Though I also love the idea that Dad mode takes over the existential dread of being transformed😂😂Also Dorothy is in my version of traditional Vinkus children's clothing, if you wanna know what she's wearing lol

This is of course not canon to Shiz Babysitters, but don't worry, Fiyero gets put through the wringer in other (vaguely similar) ways :D But that's later

when I was younger, I got food poisoning. I was supposed to recover from it, but I wound up with a bunch of nasty medical conditions instead. I never imagined I would become disabled from food.

so I am really glad I have been able to help spread the word every now and then about food safety and recalls, since it hopefully means a few less people going through what I have.

It's definitely not just a random name, especially how inform the cast- Ariana, for example- and directors are of Oz lore.

Some more Fiyeraba doodles I've done in the past and I just never got around to posting until now. So have some fluff!

First pic, something something "I'll stuff a mattress out of you." Fiyero makes an excellent bed on those late nights when Elphaba falls asleep in his arms reading a favorite book.

We've got:

Scarecrow - The Wicked Witch of the West's boyfriend who she accidentally zapped into straw while trying to save him from getting executed for treason. Also he's a literal prince, Glinda's ex-fiancee, and the only person here who has anything close to the full story of what's going on.

Tin Man - Elphie's old friend from college who's spent the past few years enslaved to her sister (his ex) and who now hates her because he thinks that she turned him into a human soup can just to be an asshole rather than to save his life. Probably fighting off the beginnings of an existential crisis.

Cowardly Lion - Elphaba saved him from a life of non-sapiency when he was a cub, which he blames for his cowardice. Considering how he was a small child that got abandoned in the wilderness, he kinda has a point.
