Leviathans Mark is set in a world were everyone is born with a tattoo of their spirit animal, these tattoos are called Marks. In this world, there are those called Mythics; mythics are individuals whose marks are those from mythology, cryptids, urban-legends, and stories.
Marks can only be from mammals, reptiles, birds, and sea creatures.
When an animal becomes extinct people can no longer be born with that mark.
When a new animal is discovered people can be born with that animal as their mark.
At birth, you are also born with a special ability correlating to the animal you get.
All abilities are random and no two are the same.
Abilities cannot grant flight. or venom, or any other superhuman abilities
However, abilities such as heightened agility, strength, and amazing eyesight exist but only at above-average levels.
The majority are born with one ability, some have two, the rarest have three.
People with three abilities are considered better than others, thus given certain privileges over others.
There can be multiple tattoos of the same animal.
Color, design, and location are all random, as well as abilities.

There can only be one of each mythic at a time, there can be no two of the same mythic.
An exemption from this rule is Cerberus who are always born as triplets.
Mythics are always born with the same abilities.
Mythics have supernatural abilities beyond that of normal people.
When a mythic dies their mark passes on to a child born the exact moment of their death.
Jersey Devil is exempt from this rule due to his ability to regenerate and reincarnate
While normal people show no physical attributes caused by their mark, mythics show mild attributes such as eyes, teeth, and small areas of skin; though none are major.
Jersey Devil is exempt from this rule as his physical attributes are more prominent
Mythics Have higher stamina, dexterity, constitution, and durability.
It is to the point where low to medium caliber ammunition and bladed weapons have little effect only managing to leave small bruises
They are also immune to most common illnesses, such as Cancer and most natural poisons and venoms
Unless itâs caused by other mythics
Explosives and extremely high caliber rounds are needed to leave actual damage such as pile-bunker rounds and explosive rounds fired from a railgun rifle or pistol
Graphene blades or blades vibrating at high frequencies can also damage mythicsÂ
Mythics are completely unknown to the world, even high-level government agencies do not know of their existence
All due to the Piscerian Club, an ancient Organization that created and uses the Illuminati as a dummy cover to stay in the shadows.
There are multiple smaller groups within the Piscerian club
Their main job is to keep mythics hidden and stop rogue mythics from rampaging
The Piscerian club separates the world into twelve different sectors all names after the zodiac
Mythics marks must come from mythology, fairy-tales, cryptids, urban-legends, and effigies.
Lobsters are exempt from this due to the fact that immortal lobsters are a running gag in this world
They must be animalistic in nature, so no ghosts, no centaurs, and no, vampires
The Golem of Prague is an exemption due to the fact he is a homunculus
