one would have written the older niran to be the one to hold pete's hand and say okay lets go back to our world. but what they wrote instead was the older niran being so tired he wanted to simply sit down for once, while the younger niran was finally being acknowledged—that his younger spirit is just as lost in the life spirit realm. and to bring niran back to his reality, they needed to heal the root.

i just love the fact that the episode has highlighted the significance of young niran to niran in the present. a child. they gave emphasis on the child and his own worries. finally, someone had addressed his worries.

and it was his soulmate who did.

I appreciate that Pete has these kiddos that are kind of ride or die for him. One wonders how he adopted this gaggle of young'uns, but one is glad he's not been as alone as he may have felt. He said "guess what? Turns out I've got a demon sealed inside of me, and I need your help to wake it up?" And they said yeah, okay. And then after seeing him get literally momentarily TAKEN OVER BY THE DEMON they didn't try to say "nah, we can't help" they just brought protective gear this time around. And in between, when they were very well aware there was an actual genuine real-life demon inside Pete that could maybe take over the guy because at this point he hadn't gotten it under control, they were still down to hang out.

Why'd they have to kill Theo's parents to get Buck in his life? Was it really necessary? I was looking forward to the angle of Buck going to therapy and probably getting diagnosed with adhd or something similar and working out what worked for him and what didn't while growing up, to help his friends parent a mini Buck. But now he's become Theo's guardian???

Didn't it take a long ass time for Karen and Hen to get into the foster care system before a child was placed with them? So how the hell did Buck get approved so fast? Being a donor does give him any rights to bypass the checks and balances. Make it make sense.
