Summary: A handful of neglected pets and forest fauna band together under the leadership of Angelfire, a dumped pet Savannah cat who claims to be the prophet of a mysterious Black Hare.

"Angelfire and I have known each other for... a while, I guess. She's always been there for me when I needed it. Especially before we ended up out here."

"We used to be pets, after all. We were only kits back then, though."

"Something must have happened, though. Just before we left."

"I never thought to ask about it. I trust her implicitly, you know? I have to, after everything she's done for me."

"What's the issue, my little star?"

"A stoat deep in the forest is questioning your belief, Angelfire!!"

"Worry not, little star, for the Black Hare will punish all nonbelievers in time."

"Surely, a follower of mine of such high regard would understand this, no?"

"Yes, Angelfire, of course, you're right. My mistake..!"

"songbird asks: the black hare? what is she saying about a black hare?"

"A gecko pops its head up curiously. "What kind of stories is she telling about this hare?"

"I'll be the first to admit I don't know the specifics... It's just some.. deity that she seems to believe in."

"Some harbinger of fate, benevolent so long as you heed her word... It's disquieting to prey on one's fears like that."

"I'm going to have to tell Angelfire about this..."

"Oh, great. Just what I needed, some nosy mole..."

"the little grey mole asks: what makes you so wary about that cat? what kind of things is she saying?"

"It doesn't matter what it is she says. It's profane, unnatural. Something like her shouldn't be here."

"Anonymouse asked: reason, you don’t really have a fair reason for being so suspicious"

"I have every reason to be suspicious! Isn't it odd for a stranger to arrive without warning, only to proclaim herself a leader? A prophet?"

"It's obscene that she tries to wrap our peers into her asinine stories of some Black Hare."

"That strange beast is prowling around the clearing again. I swear, she isn't like anything I've seen before. Too large to be one of those house cats, but nothing like the cougars."

"And those eyes.. bright as the moon but I swear they don't reflect any light. She's gathering others under her, now."

"I've got to put a stop to this. Before it goes too far."
