Christmas Trip, South Australia
For Christmas 2015 I was far away from home the kind hearted Matt invited me to spend Xmas with his family in South Australia. A couple of days after finishing my 3 months labour work at Mr Donut, we drove the "Champ Cam" , Matt's beautiful Champagne coloured  Toyota Camery.
First stop, Adelaide were we did some Xmas shopping for the family. We had a really quick look around the city with his brother and futur wife, later on we had dinner with them !
The next stop was Jamestown, South Australia. I've always heard about this place from Matt, let's say, he didn't brag about it too much. We had a few beers there with Sir Schwayne Dabbis, Matt's old man.
A day after we actually went over to Arno bay where we were supposed to spend Xmas in a little beach Shed.

One of these days, we went on a trip to meet the real Jerry, The person I got my nickname from, Gerald Davis, Matt's Gran-dad. I'll just put it down to one sentence : " Jerry is busy, really busy "
On the 23rd we went crab fishing with some family relatives, what a fun experience, we also saw dolphins swimming and jumping right next to our boat, this moment was surreal !

On our way to Whalers way, a beautiful family owned part of land that tourists can visit. The Farm that owns this land is probably super rich since the entrance was 30 or 40$ per car, but you will see in the picture that it was worth it... This is probably the most beautiful beach I've seen so far in Australia.

On a lazy Xmas eve we had 39 degrees outside so we headed down to the beach just to have a little morning swim. As you most commonly do for Xmas in Australia. Of course I was wearig the Davis Grain Hat, Wayne Davis' company.

On Xmas day we had a wonderful buffet lunch a we played Lawn Balls. A true Australian game very similar to a classical British ball game. We had a lot of drinks and a lot of fun with the whole family. After Xmas I went straight to Sydney with the train to spend probably one of the best new years eve and day I never had.
Next post will be about the Belgo-french road trip from Melbourne to Queensland. Stay tuned !
