                dragged  out  like  a  lifeless  rat,  senua  lies  outside  the  gate  of  hel  bloodied  and  consumed  by  rot  that  is  nearing  the  last  vital  part  of  her  being.  dillion  was  never  coming  back,  yet  she  set  out  on  her  journey  to  bargain  with  the  giantess  and  queen  of  all  that  is  damned.  but  alas,  she  can  breath  and  feel  the  warmth  of  sunlight  once  more.   still  she  cries,  using  what  little  strength  that  is  left  to  crawl  away  from  the  gate.   impaired  vision  from  an  abyss  to  a  blinding  light,  only  a  silhouette  helps  the  torn  warrior  calm.       ❛   please             help  me.   ❜

            alone  by  the  shore,  senua  sits  looking  at  her  own  reflection.  talking.  trying  to  drown  out   what  nonsense  the  voices  fill  her  head  with.    senses  hear  the  birds,  the  raven  in  the  distance  watching  her  every  move.    waves  cease  when  the  image  of  a  dark  warrior         ❛   are  you      real?    ❜        there’s  no  interest  to  attack  because  there’s  no  fear  left  to  make  her  worry.    hands  soak  in  cold  water,  causing  ripples  and  distorted  images.    (   she’s  still  mourning.  did  she  leave  her  mind  in  hel?  she  did.  how  stupid.  he’ll  never  come  back.  )

hel  ironed  out  every  last  fear  that  once  made  a  home  out  of  senua,  making  i l l i m i t a b l e  courage.   with  gramr  attached  at  the  hip,  little  strength  woven  with  panic  tries  to  move  rubble  for  runic  clues.
