You've only got one life to live, and time is fleeting.
Spend as much of it as you can partaking in the things and people that bring you joy, because this world is increasingly robbing us of that time, of those things, and of those people.
Now, to be clear, don't do the dumb thing of getting SO LOST in the sauce you forget to actually LIVE in reality -- CONNECT with actual human beings when and how you can, while giving yourself the space to rest and recuperate as needed.
Confront things that are conflicting or uncomfortable from time to time, so that you can grow and adapt. Don't just lock yourself away in a bubble ALL the time.
Try NEW things now and again! Reach out to people you once had beef or fallings out with, years after the fact, and seek closure or reconnection. People CHANGE over time and you never know what could happen or where they're at, much less where you're going to be five, ten years from now.
Enjoy the childish things your child self missed out on experiencing.
MAKE THINGS. Allow yourself to make mistakes and get messy! Music, writing, drawing, programming, cosplay, video making, voice acting, on and on, there's SO MANY creative hobbies you could have access to, and you are allowed to just dabble in any of them. There's no requirement that mandates that you MUST "get gud" at a given hobby to justify its time and space in your life. There is growth and pleasure to be found in being a "tourist", it's why tourism is a THING IN THE FIRST PLACE.
It is all a balancing act, trying to partake in "cringe" things and letting yourself hyperfixate while also being a functional human being that takes care of their responsibilities, and that doesn't just outright reject and disconnect from anyone and anything that presents the slightest bit of challenge or discomfort. Go too far in one direction and you prevent yourself from having fun and being your "full" self. Go too far in the other direction and you become static and disconnected.
It's not easy, but when you can find even patches of that balance, it's such an edifying feeling.
In the world we're living in, simply existing, and allowing yourself to be weird, and pursue what brings you joy, is in itself a form of resistance.
