i have this dream that i am hitting my dad with a baseball bat AND HE IS SCREAMING AND CRYING FOR HELP ( and maybe halfway through it has more to do with me killing him than it EVER did protecting myself )

the   M O N S T E R   that’s outside my window ? he’s like   F A M I L Y   to me now .

                                             all of the   s o r r o w   won't fit in his chest                                     it just  burns  like a   f i r e   in the pit of his chest                                       and his heart is a   b i r d   on a spit in his chest

                        nobody's righteous                         nobody's       proud                         nobody's  innocent            NOW THAT THE CHIPS ARE DOWN

             c a s t   y o u r   e y e s   t o   h e a v e n —                                                        YOU GET A KNIFE IN THE BACK !

                         life ain't easy                          life ain't fair                                    a girl's gotta fight for her rightful share
