Heard ya liked angst so hear me out. Ragatha resting Caine on her lap, which causes Caine to remember Queenie resting him on her lap, and he starts crying while Ragatha comforts him.
she even sounds like her sometimes
Actually Caine have the perfect size for horse racing
Caine know the charm of being a short king but hearing that from Ragatha is definitely a ego boost
can we see Caine in a dress since u drew ragatha in a suit(COUGH BOWTIE COUGH COUGH!!!!)
he grows to really like wearing them 💕

While there was time, I compiled a list of my favorite romantic and aromantic love tropes.
The characters are united by a common cause/common passion. Something that they both love very much, let it be helping people or a hobby, something that makes them wake up in the morning. Loving each other becomes a side effect of their common activities, love is understood as a dynamic, collaborative and creative process. Even better, if these two people have different reasons to love this "something", they have a chance to rethink their beliefs and see the old thing in a new way.
"You're looking at me and you don't see me. Do you have any idea what it's like?" When character A ignores, does not notice, or is dismissive for no reason to Character B, who wishes him well. Then, of course, the feeling of constant invisibility gets boring for character B, or their feelings were hurt in some way, and they were frankly disappointed in character A, so they either take direct offense or ignore and distance themselves from this person. That's when this happens, then Character A realizes what a fool he was and couldn't see what was right in front of their noses.( Flipped)
Characters sharing a common trauma or having a common pain, which they see reflected in each other. Or having similar behaviors that are a direct consequence of that injury. When they look and realize, damn, it's exactly the same shit as mine, an experience that only they can understand, knowing that there's someone around who understands what you're like, you're not alone in this feeling. When there is this blind trust between the characters. This is probably my favorite trope in the world, and it would be great if all the authors could do it properly. (I see bowtie everywhere).
To understand that you love someone only after that person's death. Yes, it's about Friren. When understanding about feelings comes to you only after the person has already left, it may even be several years after their death. When a character can be in love and not even notice it. As long as a person is around, the brain can protect, mistake feelings for a habit or friendship. When he leaves forever, barriers disappear, and the truth becomes vivid and unbearable. In general, it's quite noticeable how much I love the effect of absence in different guises. :))
monster romance.Right here:https://www.tumblr.com/liklilili/818882960646406144/anyway-concept-the-two-people-pleaser-comfort?source=share I've already written why I like it. But in short, love for a non-human being serves as a powerful metaphor for radical acceptance, freedom from the condemnation of society, and finding intimacy in unexpected places.
The love of the pilot and the ship. The first thing that comes to mind is the Doctor and the TARDIS, I LOVE INTELLIGENT SHIPS! In general, I'm a big fan of machines that can feel, even if not in the most familiar sense. Whatever kind of relationship there was between them, you can see how strong the bond between them is. It's a lifelong commitment.
Being in love with a city or a job. The very type of love that unfortunately has very little written about, the love of the city, when the streets, houses and sunsets over the roofs cause the same awe and joy as a loved one. The city becomes alive: it gets its own character, voice, smell and rhythm, and ordinary walks turn into dates. But the "Love of work" trope is generally finding a trail in the snow.

"Not perfect, but happy and real"
you know, i love the idea of Ragatha and Caine moving in together post malfunction au and teaching one another their lifestyles, a tech boy showing a farm girl her way around technology while she teaches him about farm related things and how to ride horses.
Kinger is honestly more of the tech guy but he did teach Caine some stuff so I think he would nerd out on Ragatha and she'd just find him even more adorable (she doesn't know what he's talking about half the time)
Both of them planting stuff in their garden, spending the winter cuddling together near a fire, helping each other through difficult times..
happy 10th anniversary to Deep Breath, the beginning of the 12th doctor era! I couldn't decide which poster idea I liked more so I did both.
Maybe it's naive of me, but whenever I see portraits like this, with just a father and daughter, it restores my faith in humanity a little. Because people seem to love this idea that fathers never loved their daughters in the past and only saw them as bargaining chips for marriage or whatever, but look at the guy in the first portrait on the left, he loves that little girl! And the dad trying to do his work while his daughter bothers him with an Old Timey Barbie. The man teaching his daughter geography, his expression is so soft! The way the man in the last portrait holds the little girl's hand! And none of these are incidental, these aren't photographs, someone (probably the father) paid good money and sat down for hours so that they could have a painting of themselves and their daughter. Probably because they loved their daughter.
From left to right: 1795 Michał Jerzy Mniszech with his daughter Elżbieta - Marcello Bacciarelli; Christopher Anstey and his daughter Mary Ann by William Hoare 1776; A Musician and His Daughter by Thomas de Keyser 1629; The Geography Lesson (Portrait of Monsieur G. and His Daughter), 1812; Jean-baptiste Isabey And His Daughter; Portrait of a Young Girl and Older Man by William Harrison Scarborough
(this is probably somewhat related to my other favourite genre of painting, Husband With Multiple Kids Making Come Hither Eyes At His Wife)
oh I love those! People being people is one of my favourite kinds of paintings and an important reminder that people in past times were not all that different. There were dads who loved their daughters fiercely. There were fathers who happily looked after their babies too. The German reformer Philip Melanchton for example had a cradle in his office. His wife was busy organising a household for 20 people- she was out and about, he mostly worked in his office, it made sense for him to look after their babies too babies while she dropped by at snack time.
in fact often if it was kind of safe dads had the babies in their workshops for just that reason as we can see in these paintings:
The left is “the busy father” by Theodore Weber, the right one is “At the china repairer’s “ by Wenzel Tornoe. All dads who are actively involved in childcare and a painter who thought it was a cute topic rather than anything ridiculous.
I raise you:
First Lesson by Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865 - 1931)
Un Coup De Main (The Helping Hand) by Émile Renouf (1845 – 1894)
Italian Winegrower And His Daughter by Francesco Baratta (1590-1666)
someone's protectiveee..

An AU blossoms in my soul with the witch Ragatha and the vampire Caine. Based on discworld, Ragatha, a former aristocrat who ran away from home to become a witch and help people, meets the vampire Caine(too bright and cheerful to be a vampire, but who has retained many habits), who has also severed ties with his relatives and is trying to find his place in the world.
Bowtie but both Caine and Ragatha have Hanahaki disease
this au so good 🙏🙏
