A tiny island in Greece, one that many travellers don't yet know exists 🦋

This is Kimolos, a rocky, rugged island just 25 minutes from Milos. The island is slow and quiet, days are spent by the water, accommodation is in little fisherman houses. I booked mine and it was better than I could have imagined.

Located on a small beach I fell asleep and woke up to nothing but the sound of the Aegean Sea, breakfast overlooked the neighbouring island of Poliegos, and evenings were spent wondering the Chorio.

I visited in May, the island was mostly asleep, with just a handful of other tourists. In the height of summer you will find some day trippers from Milos, but mostly this island you will have to yourself. The perfect alternative to busier, louder and more expensive islands, Kimolos was a dream come true!
