i wish there were more fics that tackled the dsmp story on a much wider scale, from like the perspective of a full country with thousands of citizens rather than just a couple dozen… like i crave a novel about the socioeconomic consequences of schlatt’s rule is what im saying. i want to see citizens shouting at the gates of the white house demanding a solution to the food shortage. i want to hear about the badlands’ monopoly on the steel industry and how blacksmiths in manberg are struggling to keep adequate inventory as a result. i wanna meet families whose homes were destroyed on november 16th or january 6th or any of the other wars that have occurred. i wanna see pogtopia with dozens of refugees huddled inside, cramped and cold and hungry. i wanna hear about the woods outside manberg and how schlatt’s guards and hunters are patrolling it constantly, searching for whatever game they can find and preventing average citizens from hunting their own food. i want to see quackity promising solutions at a public rally and having to flee the stage when the audience starts rioting in protest. i want to see newspapers and political cartoons and graffiti and drinking songs and people!! i want to see people!!!!

instead of making the nether taller they should just put the existing nether upwards and then fill the underneath section with a new Deeper Dark biome that links to the overworld via ancient city portals.

#make it composed of like. obsidian and crying obsidian with streaks of tuff+deepslate and a new rock called voidslate#voidslate would have stalagm/tites like dripstone#also a new liquid called soul lava or smth… and fireflies but they’re like vex and evil and fucked up#also nether portals wouldnt be able to be lit in the deeper dark BUT ancient city portals would be analog to 16x distance in the overworld i#also the main mob there would be a sort of warden/enderman fusion type mob called the Prisoner and it’d be kinda like a giant spider but wit#with six very long legs and a huge body that looks kinda like an upsidedown ghast mixed with a hoglin/cow#give it six eyes too - 2 big orange ones - 2 medium yellow ones - 2 small white ones#and like its body would be covered in a sort of mossy fungus that slowly pulses betweeen reddish and bluish like crimson and warped trees#also it should sound like the massive anglerfish from outer wilds mixed with like… the ghost leviathan from subnautica
