#long post #image heavy #origami #papiroflexia #paper craft #recycled paper #modular origami #kusudama #I've been obsessed with this model for years and finally I decided to tackle it #I almost felt guilty for cutting the paper knowing that some patterns wouldn't properly show up in the hydrangea units #but it would be worse to just leave them there and never use them #so I think it was worth it to use them on such a special model #also there were two pieces where the paper had gotten wet at some point so it got pretty frail and stiff and when I tell you it started to #literally rip apart on my hands.. but I pushed through and somehow you can barely tell the mess it was to fold lol
