having some old shithead of a lady tell the bagger i should be smacked upside the head for “being a smart-ass” (all i did was tell a joke?? at my own expense???), no matter the different ways i try to see it, hurts. and it made me want to curl up and cry in a corner and die. im so fucking dehumanized as a cashier i dont fucking understand.

i cant even do anything. neither can the bagger. it just fucking sucks and it wasnt the calling me a smartass that made me want to die, but saying that i should be smacked upside the head that did

idk but i had a small, internal panic attack when she said that cuz my head is so fucking sensitive, if someone would actually hit it id probs have a concussion or some shit

and the fact that she can fucking get away with saying that shit and not be fucking banned from the store pisses me off. because im a cashier means i dont get to be treated like a fucking human being??
