I’ve always loved the original sketch by Wayama and wanted to try drawing it. I also thought it could be fun to try and make a simple animation!

I wanted to make a post to apologize for being MIA for a while - work has gotten very busy recently, but I'm hoping to start getting back a little time soon.

I also wanted to make a post acknowledging the official end of Famiresu-Iko. It's a bittersweet feeling. I'm so grateful to Yama Wayama for sharing her story and art with us and I've loved seeing the creativity coming from this fandom across different spaces, languages, and mediums. I'm even more grateful for the fact that these stories and characters inspired me to get back into creative hobbies that I haven't touched in years.

With all of that being said, I did start making a little manga-continuation piece for the last chapter that I hope to finish soon! So please be aware that I will start posting spoilers for the last chapters and extra pages that released yesterday. In the meantime, though, I may share a smaller (sort of lol) project I've been working on.

I thought I'd make a welcome post first, just in case anyone ends up scrolling through this blog.

This is meant to be a side-blog for me to post my art for Karaoke Iko/Famiresu Iko. I haven't decided yet if I'll reblog other posts or keep it strictly to my own stuff, but I'm excited to share what I've created with the community here! I hope you'll like what I have to share.
